Camp Akiva’s Hospitality Director is corresponding individually with each reservation for the months of March – May. Camp Akiva is closely adhering to the CDC’s recommendations and the State of Texas’s Executive Order Declarations to direct our operational status. As a facility, we are reviewing reservations two weeks prior to the event in order to utilize the most current declarations & applicable restrictions possible. Once operations return to normal, where we are actually hosting guests again, we will implement cleaning protocols (above and beyond our normal daily cleaning routines with groups on site) to do our best to regularly sanitize congested gathering areas and high traffic zones. Our ministry’s sole purpose is to gather God’s people together. We look forward to serving God by hosting our future retreat groups and scheduled summer camps!!
Camp Akiva is a refuge offering hope to kids of abuse and neglect and provides Christ-centered hospitality to all age groups in a setting separate from the pressures of the world.
AKIVA (Uh-kee-vah): The meaning that inspired us the most was “protect or shelter”. God has blessed this camp to be a place of shelter to many who have not experienced it in their daily lives. Camp Akiva will be a safe and fun place where every person leaves revived, refreshed and reminded of God’s greater love that offers hope to everyone.
